Though it is not yet Halloween, my wife dressed up in what I thought to be an American Indian outfit only to be corrected that it was a traditional Russian dance outfit. For today is the day all willing adults get to look like someone (or something) else. Needless to say we celebrate the day before All Hallows Day and anxiously await to the sounds of “Trick or Treat!” coming from costumed children. We even add the large bars as a special treat and often encourage the usage of a handful to grab. You cannot imagine how greedy some of these children are and on the other side how well behaved a few of the others can be.
We are fortunate to live where many children seem to be. Every year we give nearly all the candy we have away. That is a good thing because otherwise it is my wife and I who windup eating the remains.
Have a Happy Halloween!
